National guard members assist bleeding 75 year old man who was pushed by police.

Trump always says we should value the police, but yesterday graphic video showed why we should value the national guard even more.
Police in Buffalo were moving protestors back when a 75 year old man seemed to walk at them, confronting two of the officers. From the body language he seemed visibly upset over them holding beat sticks. During this confrontation a police officer pushed the man causing him to loose his balance and fall straight on his back, hitting his head on the conrete.
The 75 year old man laid motionless on the ground with a pool of blood coming from his head. Meanwhile all the police officers ignored the man as if he were not even there. Thankfully there were two members of the national guard present. One service member walked up to the injured old man and appeared to begin treating him before the cameraman was forced to move away.
The man is reportedly at the hospital in serious yet stable condition. We should all be so thankful that national guard members were added to the police forces to assist in protecting peaceful protestors. Who knows what might have happened if these two service members were not present to give medical assistance to this critically injured protestor?

In spite of the resounding chorus of outcry over the deployment of national guard to protect peaceful protestors, these service members actually know basic first aid, among other useful skills. If the goal is to actually "protect" peaceful protest, we would all likely be much safter with nation guard members in place of police, who often times are jaded to voilence and undertrained in descalation and first aid.
